McKay Ltd has signed a contract with Hawaiki Submarine Cable LP, the owner and developer of the Hawaiki submarine cable system, for the build of the Cable Landing Station (CLS) in Mangawhai Heads.
McKay Ltd has signed a contract with Hawaiki Submarine Cable LP, the owner and developer of the Hawaiki submarine cable system, for the build of the Cable Landing Station (CLS) in Mangawhai Heads. Under the multi-milliondollar contract, McKay will design and construct the Hawaiki cable landing station. The scope of work includes the complete civil, building, electrical, standby generation, AC and DC UPS systems, and HVAC systems to provide the required CLS facility for Hawaiki. McKay is proud to be associated to such a land mark project. Hawaiki had very particular requirements and we came up with a unique Northland based solution that included our local partners and met Hawaiki’s needs. Rhys Farrand is McKay’s Project Manager.
