What advice would you give to a woman working in the electrical industry?

Be open to all opportunities the industry presents

As a female engineer what advice would you give other females thinking about joining the electrical industry?

As we work together to tackle climate change it is becoming increasingly obvious electrification is the future, we will always need skilled people in the electrical industry to support this transition. The next 20 years are an amazing opportunity to work in an industry that is growing exponentially.

What do you enjoy most about being an engineer?

The opportunity to solve problems and make the world a better place.

Who is your favourite female leader or role model and why?

Grace Tame (Australian of the year 2021), she has faced enormous challenges and is still an outspoken advocate for those who do not have a voice.

What can both men and women do to help support females in the electrical industry?

Call out inequity and discrimination when you see it in the workplace.
