McKay Attends First International Conference Post COVID-19

 

MCKAY ATTENDS INDO PACIFIC 2022

After over two years the McKay team have attended their first international conference since COVID-19 began. And what better way to kick-off the reignition of in-person events than the Indo Pacific Conference in Sydney, Australia.

The Indo Pacific 2022, is an international maritime exposition, hosting the best of the maritime and naval technology for the Indo-Asia-Pacific. The three-day event kicked off on Tuesday 10th of May, hosting over 21,000 attendees. This gateway to the Australian and regional marketplace hosted 657 participating exhibitors from 22 nations.

With McKay offering a range of services in the maritime defence industry, it was crucial for the team to be present at this year’s conference. Based on the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise stand, McKay highlighted its ability to service marine electrical engineering, design and automation, naval switchboards, power distribution solutions, electrical sustainment, and electric and hybrid vessels.

McKay made some great connections and continue to foster their relationship with prime contractors and government organisations such as the New Zealand Ministry of Defence and the Royal Australian Navy.
